- Chlorine is harmful but it was necessary to prevent the generation of germs and bacteria. ▶ On sterilization for swimming pool, it is installed at the last of inflow water of swimming pool when it is installed because of its harmless. it is no harm to install separate "by pass line" by considering the flow rate and water pressure.

▶ On the ferrule of housing connection part, arranges pipe to "water in" with welded lower part of SIS body, and to "water out" with welded upper part.

▶ Electricity is supplied by the switch that is placed on front of the control box. It is off status in normal time, and it is operated with on status when water of swimming pool is full.

▶ When it operates after more than 6 months of no operation, check scale of silver and titanium plate through to open the wrench bolt of upper body. Also, check scale every 6 month even if it operates continually. Remove scale by using a brush or other tools in clean water if scale is found.

▶ The flow cell is replaced in 3,000 hours.

Silver Ions which are generated via electrification by supplying constant current to a titanium electrode and a pure silver electrode for each negative pole and positive pole of direct current source sterilize and eradicate microbes. John Hopkins from USA created the method of silver ion for water purification in 1950 and Shell Oil Company used silver ion as disinfectant agent. In addition to being used as chlorine disinfection agent in swimmimg pools, it also prevents hair bleach, skin rashes, and side effects on human health.

USA announced the regulation approved by EPA(Environmental Protection Agency) that water treated with silver should remain at 50ppb levels. We can be free from fear of chemical compounds such as trihalomethane.

rom then on, we began using ozone, ultraviolet, and chlorination to sterilize swimming pools, but the ozone and ultraviolet-based on sterilization cause second contamination after sterilization due to the absence of chemical residue. It is also expensive.

The chlorination causes concerns about the effects of chlorine such as smell and taste, and may also create cancerous (substances) such as trihalomethane through chemical reaction between organism and chlorine in water.
